Khatu Shyam Ji Mela 2025:
The world-famous Baba Shyam’s Falgun Lakhhi Mela will begin on 28th February. To ensure devotees can have a smooth darshan of Baba Shyam, the Shri Shyam Mandir Committee and local authorities are making necessary arrangements. This year, the mela will have a restriction on the display of Nishans taller than 8 feet.
Baba Shyam’s Falgun Lakhhi Mela 2025 will begin on 28th February. To ensure that devotees have a smooth and easy darshan of Baba Shyam, the Shri Shyam Mandir Committee and local authorities are making necessary arrangements. This year, there will be some new changes in the festival’s organization compared to previous years. If you are planning to undertake the padyatra to Baba Shyam’s mela, please keep the following important guidelines in mind to avoid any inconvenience.
This year, Nishans taller than 8 feet will be strictly prohibited. Any Nishan exceeding this height will not be allowed entry into the mela premises. Additionally, action will be taken against those selling Nishans taller than 8 feet in Khatu. During the mela, all Shyam Nishans must be kept within the Charan Mela ground. Moreover, there will be a complete ban on items like rose flowers with thorns, small glass bottles, and perfume bottles. Glass bottles will also be prohibited inside the Khatu Shyam Ji temple.
DJ Ban
As per the orders of the Sikar District Collector, there will be a ban on playing DJ music from the Reengus road onwards during the Baba Shyam Falgun Lakhhi Mela. Furthermore, there will be a complete ban on alcohol. To ensure that devotees face no difficulties, carpets will be laid from Reengus to Khatu. Inside the temple, devotees will have to stand in 14 lines for darshan, and the VIP darshan system will be completely suspended. Four of the darshan lines will start from Kabootar Chowk, two lines from Guwad Chowk, and eight lines will be located at the main exit.
Devotees will reach the temple via Charan Khet and Lakhdatar grounds. Additionally, light fragrant water will be sprayed on devotees via sprinklers for a refreshing experience.
