Shyam Seva Mandal is set to host the 29th Khatu Shyam Sankirtan Mahotsav on October 1. Renowned Bhajan singer Lakhbir Singh Lakha will perform soulful Bhajans during the event. Prior to the main program, a grand procession will parade through the city. Speaking to journalists at a Civil Lines hotel, Om Prakash Agarwal, the executive president of Shyam Seva Mandal, shared that, like every year, this year’s Mahotsav will take place at Nehru Stadium. Lakhbir Singh Lakha, celebrated as the Bhajan Samrat, will be presenting devotional Bhajans dedicated to Baba Shyam. Additionally, Rajesh Sharma from Surajgarh, Rajasthan, will lead the decoration of Baba’s court. Key attractions of the event include the grand court, Akhand Jyoti, divine decorations, and the ceremonial Chhappan Bhog.
